I feel so honored that you would take a few minutes to stop by and check out my page. If you find a nugget of truth or a morsel of encouragement to help you today, then the purpose of this website is being fulfilled.
I certainly have needed truth and encouragement to help me through my hardest, darkest days. Especially after the birth of our only daughter, Selah. She was beautiful. She was full-term. She was stillborn.
Exactly one year later, my sister and best friend, at age 39, was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma. Five months later, Cathy saw the beautiful face of her Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ, and I believe His beauty literally took her breath away.
The truth I found to help me was in the pages of the Bible. My support system of awesome family and friends spoke encouragement into my life, which was exactly what I needed for the next trial that awaited.
At age 40, my husband Casey went to bed on April 8, 2014, but almost didn't wake up, after suffering a major hemorrhagic stroke in his sleep. This required emergency brain surgery, 6 weeks in the hospital and inpatient rehab, and lots of hard work! We've been watching God perform many, many miracles in his body ever since!
Because the Lord has sustained us through difficult circumstances, I enjoy opportunities that allow me to speak truth and encouragement to others that find themselves in trying situations. Maybe that's you today. I pray you find truth and encouragement here...I pray you find hope in real life.
